There is bulk billing on some services during normal hours. All x-rays require a co-payment and the amount Medicare rebates is paid back directly into your bank account. All non-contrast CT scans are bulk billed provided you have a valid doctor’s referral and a Medicare card. All MRIs are not eligible for bulk billing and private practice fees apply. We can advise you of out of pocket expenses you’ll incur when you come in or if you phone prior to coming in.

X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs are safe diagnostic tools when used by healthcare professionals. X-rays and CT scans expose the body to ionizing radiation, which carries some risk, but the benefits normally outweigh potential harm. MRI, using magnetic fields, does not involve ionizing radiation, making it safer for routine imaging. The safety of these procedures depends on appropriate medical necessity, careful dose control, and patient-specific factors.

All patients need to pay for any out of pocket expenses on the day of their radiology service.
